Rhododendron catawbiense 'Roseum Elegans' is a beautiful, broadleaf evergreen shrub that can handle sun & shade conditions and offer an amazing display of lilac purple colored flowers in Spring. 'Roseum Elegans' are a proven, hardy variety that are relatively low-maintenance. They make an excellent specimen, foundation or specimen planting. 

Rhododendron should be pruned just after they flower in order to not disturb the next season's flowering. Rhododendron prefer part to full shade and require fertile, well-drained soil.
