Although beautiful creatures, Deer can do tremendous damage to landscapes and plantings. The fact that their populations have been growing in suburban and rural areas of Long Island, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut among others have driven gardeners of all of these locations to search for more reliably Deer-Resistant plant choices. 

Very few plants are 100% Deer Resistant but from our experience, the following varieties are the best choices for a deer-proof garden.
